Lt. Commander Willard E. Eder
Lt. Commander Willard E. Eder, commander of Air Group 29, which served on USS Cabot (CVL-28) in Fall 1944. Commander Eder has three European kills to his credit as well as bombing runs and several Japanese kills. He retired as a Captain in 1965. He here sits in his F6F Hellcat cockpit.
