Kamikaze Attack, 1944
Explosion on USS Cabot (CVL-28) as kamikaze hits the flight deck, November 25, 1944. Two hit the ship within minutes, one on the flight deck and exploded, the other hit the side of the ship, tore off a gun tub and then exploded in the water. Note F4U Corsairs on flight deck of accompanying fleet carrier.
